Joseph J. Plunkett
Mr. Plunkett earned his undergraduate degree from LaSalle
University in 1975 (B.S. Cum Laude), and went
onto complete his legal education at Temple University
School of Law (J.D., 1980). Mr. Plunkett then
moved to Allentown, Pennsylvania, and became a partner in
the law firm of Gardner, Racines, Plunkett & Sheetz where he
practiced general business law, and began representing local
banks in residential mortgage transactions.
Thereafter, he formed Joseph J. Plunkett, P.C. and
concentrated his practice in the areas of business law,
business organizations, residential and commercial real
estate law, and commercial lending, representing both
lenders and borrowers.
Today, Mr. Plunkett's practice remains concentrated in
business, commercial, and real estate law, with an emphasis
on more complex transactions involving the purchase and sale
of commercial shopping centers, and representing national,
regional and local banks in mortgage financings of
commercial properties and workout strategies.
In his free time, Mr. Plunkett passionately
pursues his hobby of racing Mazda Miatas in the Spec Miata
racing series as well as his 1967 Mini Cooper in selected
Vintage racing events.
